From 21 to 25 September, at Cersaie 2026, 4Design presents Beyond Space, the new exhibition concept that interprets an evolved approach to surface design.
A space designed to display how decorative surfaces and acoustic solutions help define the identity of an environment, enhancing its perceived quality, its comfort and the experience of those within it.
Beyond Space is the evolution of the path taken by 4Design in the last few years: an ongoing research project that combines design, innovation, customisation and design culture to offer practical tools to architects, interior designers and businesses.
A space that embodies a design philosophy
The concept behind the stand comes from the idea that every surface can become an integral part of the architecture.
Through an open and immersive journey, visitors discover 4Design’s decorative and sound-absorbing collections, exploring their applications, design possibilities and ability to adapt to different design contexts: hospitality, retail, offices, wellness and residential.
Three-dimensional surfaces, curved elements, textured finishes and construction details interact to create welcoming, recognisable and high-performance environments, where design and function come together in a coherent design language.
A project designed to last
Beyond Space also embodies a responsible approach to design.
The entire stand has been developed according to criteria of modularity, reusability and sustainability, with the aim of reducing the environmental and economic impact of the trade fair exhibition.
The display elements and furnishings have been designed to be reconfigured and reused at future events, promoting more efficient resource management and enhancing the quality of the design over time.
